Offering

Setra's mission is to process raw materials from responsibly managed forests and offer climate-friendly products and solutions for building and living in a global market. Swedish wood for an international market.

Sawn Timber

Sawn pine and spruce are important export products. Pine is used primarily to produce visible wood products like flooring, furniture, windows and doors. Other uses for pine outdoors include a variety of pressure-treated products. Spruce handles high strength requirements and is often used as structural timber, but also for visible products such as panels and laminated wood.

Processed Timber

A large part of Setra's processed wood products are sold to the Swedish building material trade. The range includes laminated timber, indoor and outdoor panels, solid wood flooring, decking, joists and structural timber. Industrially pre-painted facade panels, finger-jointed products, and a large proportion impregnated products are also included in the product range.

Bio Products

Sales of bioproducts such as chips, sawdust and bark accounts for about 15 percent of Setra's total sales. Raw chips, which is the most significant bio product in terms of value, comes from the outer parts of the fresh stock and is an important raw material for the paper and pulp industry. Dry chips, bark and sawdust are sold primarily as fuel for power plants. Sawdust and wood shavings also go to the pellet industry.
