Setra Wood Products Ltd
(SWP) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Setra Group AB. Formed from a merger of two former Setra Group businesses, Setra Sales UK Ltd and M&S Softwood Ltd in 2018, SWP has enjoyed rapid growth in volume and turnover in all areas of its business since the merger. The core business activities of SWP involve the processing and sale of further processed softwood at its’ production plant in Kings Lynn Norfolk.
The business has also developed a rapidly growing distribution business for sawn and structural softwood from its landed stock hubs in Kings Lynn and Hull. This opportunity has arisen as a result of impending retirement of a long serving colleague but is also the result of an opportunity which has developed due to our expanding business and product portfolio.
Reporting directly to the Directors, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join an established and highly experienced sales team to deliver excellent products and services to new and established SWP clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing our sales strategy and sales plans within their allocated sales territory / customer segment. There will be requirements to travel within the UK and potentially, from time to time, to our production units in Sweden.
The successful candidate needs to be a results-driven individual who is able to build and maintain trusted customer relationships. Established and proven experience in the sales of further processed and sawn softwood is essential. Experience of sales to builders’ merchants and industrial end-users is an essential requirement as well as competence and experience in learning and using ERP/CRM systems. It would also be an advantage if the candidate has experience of selling engineered timber. Competence is also required in the use of MS software including power-point.
As this is primarily an external role the successful candidates home location is, within reason, flexible.

As a senior member of the SWP team the successful candidate will be a team player and will work to develop and execute our plan to develop sales according to the company’s sales strategy. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts within their designated sales territory.
Work closely with all departments within the SWP business teams to ensure our production, sales and distribution is efficient and profitable. Contribute to the successful delivery of the Group’s strategy.
