Setra Trävaror AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Setra Group, has completed the sale of Malå Såg AB to HS Timber Group. The transaction, announced in October 2025, is hereby finalised. The operation now joins HS Timber Group’s portfolio and will be operated under the name Malå Timber.
The sale of Malå Såg AB is in line with Setra’s strategy to focus and strengthen its position in Bergslagen in central Sweden. Setra will now continue to develop its core business in wood processing, where the Group sees the greatest opportunities to create long-term profitability.
